Hi Debra,

I'll answer your questions in reverse if that's okay!

You can indeed download MP3s too - if you login to your ipadio account you'll see a list of your phlogs with a button to download next to each one on the right hand side - so you can download the MP3, edit it and reupload.

With regard to non-profits, we do charge for use with organisations. For more information on this, drop an e-mail to info@ipadio.com and I'll put you in touch with my colleagues to discuss this.

Cheers,

James

I read about your program on Jane's Blog and am very intrigued. Here's my 2 questions:
#1: I understand it is free to consumers. What about non-profit organizations?
#2: I understand you can create an MP3 file and upload it but what about if you just call in and create a recording? I didn't see anything about the ability to download the recording. Are you able to? If so in what/which format(s)?

The reason I'm asking is the non-profit I'm working with has budgetary, human resource and technology skill limitations (not a big surprise for a non-profit). I have my own audio recording software I could use if the subject matter experts were all local but they aren't. And their virtual meeting platform doesn't allow downloading of recordings. So I thought ipadio might be a solution. If I can have them call into a number and read a script....then I could download and edit the script audio before embedding it into their training presentation. Everyone can use a phone right?! This seems like a great tool you have here!!

Hi James

Just a note on Google - we're showing up in Google's search results in a few hours now, so ipadio can be the best way to get to a trending search term quickly.

Of course, we'll continue to work on things, and who knows, in the end ipadio might get to the stage where we're showing for real time search too, but we've a way to go on that score yet!!
