Put your phonecasts on the map!
One of the many cool things you can do with ipadio is geotag each phonecast you record with the location of where you recorded it. If you use our iPhone or Android apps, this is simply a case of ticking the box when it comes to uploading your phonecast – but other ipadio users can do this too! If you login to your ipadio account, find the phonecast you want to geotag, click edit and scroll down – you’ll see a map that you can put a pin into. Easy!
But why would you want to do this? How’s this for an example… Liz and Amy recently completed a walk along the route of Hadrian’s Wall in northern England – and phonecasted along the entire journey. With the addition of geographical data it means we can plot where they were on a map when they phoned in their updates – brilliant!
