Sending a message to William Hague using ipadio

CARE InternationalCARE are one of the world’s largest humanitarian relief charities, operating in over 70 countries. They’ve just launched a new campaign to send a message to the UK’s Foreign Secretary, William Hague, encouraging him to help end violence towards women in war-zones by reinstating the Ministerial post for international violence against women.

To collect the names and messages of support, they’re using ipadio – rather than present Mr Hague with just a list of names, CARE are going to be able to present a range of difference voices helping to illustrate the scale of support and the emotion involved in issues like this. CARE are asking their supporters to simply dial a number, and tell ipadio who they are, where they’re from and why they support the cause.
