Wordpress plugin development
There’s already a lot of options for integrating your ipadio phlogs with your blog or website – you can have ipadio automatically tweet a link, update your Facebook status, add to your Blogger blog, or your wordpress.com blog, or even Posterous, Livejournal or MSN Spaces. There’s even a good old-fashioned RSS feed if that’s your thing. Basically, we’d like ipadio to talk to everything – which is why we’re concerned that we’ve missed an important part of the social media puzzle. And we want to make this right.
We want to put together a plug-in for Wordpress blogs that people have installed on their own servers. This is a bit more complex than the other social media links we have, because this version of Wordpress is much more customisable and powerful than the other options, and people use it in many different ways. So we’d like to consult our users who actually maintain Wordpress blogs themselves – we’d like to know what you want the Wordpress plug-in to do.
So I’d like to put together a group of, say, maybe ten of us who actually use Wordpress regularly (in another life, I write my own personal blog using Wordpress too), so we can figure out what functionality we need, what we want and how we want to do it.
If you’re a Wordpress user, or interested in contributing to these discussions, leave a comment below (make sure you use your real e-mail address!) and I may be in touch soon!

Any news on this? I’ve done a quick search but can’t find any other wordpress plugins that do this at the moment? Have a missed something obvious? Thanks.
No news yet I’m afraid, Jonathan. Keep an eye on the ipadio blog and newsletter though for news on when we will have something available!
