Nick Clegg live on ipadio!

Yesterday was an exciting day for everyone at ipadio – we got to work with Nick Clegg, leader of Britain’s Liberal Democrats party, streaming a ‘town-hall’ meeting he was giving in Bedford live over the internet. The stream greatly increased the potential audience of such a meeting, and allowed those who could not attend to listen in – as well as giving anyone who wants to the opportunity to hear what the leader of the LibDems is like in an unscripted Q&A with the general public.

After the meeting had ended, though Nick had to rush off to catch the train back to London we were fortunate enough to grab a couple of minutes with him and thanks to ipadio being so quick and easy to get recording, had time for Sophie, a college student who is studying politics, to ask him a few questions.
