Social media integration

A couple of people have asked which social media ipadio integrates to this morning. So I thought I’d take advantage of James being on holiday to hijack his account and let you know :-) . I’ve never used WordPress in anger, so anything might happen, but here goes …

Below, I’ve just grabbed an image from my account so you can see which systems you can integrate to. Of course, note the limitations around integrating to WordPress-hosted blogs only (rather than those running on your own servers) for now, but we’ll fix that soon!

Want to take a look for yourself? Visit www.ipadio.com/login.asp to sign in to your account.

All the best, John

I use WordPress and love the intergration but feel that the graphical look is a bit poor. Would be great to have it a bit more colouful and bigger with some Ipadio branding on. It works well but looks a little dull.

With more and more businesses using Blogs, social media and Facebook I think Ipadio is a great way to reach new audiences. Why just type when now you can listen?

It’s a great website and made me delete Audioboo and Twitmic immediately. I think this can be a wonderful business communications tool but I hope that the social interaction can pick up as well.

Ipadio is the site of 2010 for me.

  3. Dean, do you mean on wordpress.com integration? Bringing the full ipadio player to that platform is on our to-do list!

    Glad you like ipadio too!

Is it possible to add Wordpress tags and/or categories to the phlog as a default on the setup page?

  5. Hi Alan,

At the moment this isn’t possible, though we hope to support it in the future.

In the meantime, one clever thing you could do if you’re using an iPhone is use the Wordpress iPhone app to login to your post and edit the metadata on the go!
